We had the most amazing rehearsal dinner at Hoboken Gourmet Company! We worked with Chef Robert to choose our menu for our rehearsal dinner. Robert was friendly, responsive, and just awesome. He went above and beyond from the cheese he selected for the appetizers to accommodating my cousin’s 18 month old son who has severe food allergies. They didn’t stop there, they really made it special with an adorable congratulations sign, flowers, and the linens on the table. All of these details they did on their own to make it perfect. I also have to give a special shout out to Liz. She is our favorite waitress on the weekends for brunch. That night she made sure everyone had everything they needed. Liz just made the whole night run smoothly. You won’t find that dedication or service from any other restaurant in Hoboken! If you are looking to have a private event, dinner or brunch choose Hoboken Gourmet Company.

Hoboken gourmet amazes me by using local ingredients from their meats, seafood, breads, cheeses, etc.. wonderful to see other local businesses helping out each other. The thoughtfulness that is put into the dinner presentation is absolutly remarkable! The Chef keeps me coming back through the perfect execution ive experienced each dinner service. Love the vibe The Hoboken Gourmet has!

Love this place. I usually stick to my usual order of Carmelo’s Migas and brewed (not syrup) hazelnut vanilla iced coffee. The coffee is so good it doesn’t need cream or sugar. Also, their fresh baked muffins and cookies are delicious and they always have different kinds to choose from.

The pork chop is AMAZING and the service is excellent. I am def going to go back and try the bacon slab that everyone raves about!

It rejoices me to write a rare 5 star. It also saddens me that this spot only has an overall 3 which means… perhaps I got lucky or the good food ends with perhaps the most delicious blueberry muffin I’ve had in years.

I don’t usually like muffins. I actually detest them, only going for the muffin tops 99% of the time (literally, will buy just the muffin tops at the grocery store). They’re usually overly sweet, or sticky, or too dense. Not this blueberry muffin. The blueberry muffin was:

– light and airy
– juicy because of the super fresh blueberries inside
– warm, just right out of the oven (stopped it at 9am on a Thursday)
-big…huge actually, but not too filling
– crunchy, sweet top but not too sticky

Wow. The quintessential American blueberry muffin for $3.75. I’ll have to come back to try the coffee and things- has a really nice homey look and feel to it. Go.

Excellent in every way. Everyone here is fantastic and the food is great. Came for brunch and got the chorizo omelette and huevos rancheros. Highly recommended and worth any wait.

Love this place! The owner/staff are incredibly nice and friendly. They have wonderful coffee/cappuccino/etc. and great breakfast and lunch options. They make their own fresh mozzarella and have amazing bread. All of their food is fresh and I have only been impressed. Can’t wait to eat here again! I love supporting all around awesome local businesses like this one.

Love this place! Delicious, creative breakfast with positive and friendly workers. Pancakes, omelets, soup… All great. Anyone who says otherwise is out of their minds.

Recommend the lattes and the egg white omelets (they make their own mozz).

I love this spot! So happy my friend and I stumbled across it 2 weeks ago. Since then I’ve been back 3 times. The food is always so good! The bacon maple muffin is one of the best things I have tried! I always have such a great experience when I go in.

You must go and try the food! You won’t be disappointed!

While I can only attest to what I ate myself, I can also report that I heard some awesome compliments while sitting in here, enjoying my bottomless cup of (delicious) coffee and eating a scrumptious “sweet and sour” muffin (ie: blueberry/cranberry). 3 times I heard “These muffins are amazing!” And now I have to chime in for a 4th compliment to the muffins…they are unreal!

I also heard someone comment on the burger that it was actually “earth-shattering.” I swear. Next time I’m getting the burger based on that enthusiastic review.

The first time I came here, it was for breakfast on the weekend a few months back. They were packed, but we got seats pretty much right away in this cozy joint, and I thoroughly enjoyed my Huevos Rancheros.

I have to say, however, that I liked my experience even more today…a mellow weekday coffee date. The exposed brick walls are comforting, quiet music playing and a super friendly waiter. This is a great place to grab a nibble, a meal or just for your daily brew.

Oh yeah…and during the spring/summer months, they put some tables outside as well, perfect for catching a few rays while enjoying your meal…

Come in for the coffee, stay for the food!

It is so easy to walk by and not notice this comfy spot. Though there is limited seating inside, it is a great space to sit and sip your coffee. If you’re hungry, I recommend the huevos ranchero. The exposed brick walls and black and white prints on the wall make for a VERY relaxing atmosphere! If you prefer something sweet, they have freshly baked cookies, muffins, and biscotti.

I cannot get myself to call this a coffee shop, because it is clearly much more.

Just moved to Hoboken, and was looking for a great Brunch/Lunch place. Well, I’m now sold. I have been here every Saturday for brunch for the past few weeks. Great food, great staff, very reasonably priced.

I have had the Goat Cheese and Smoked Salmon Omelette, as well as the Roast Beef Panini (as I was in the modd for more of a lunch-type food). Both were brilliantly done and were delicious. The kicker? Freshly made kettle chips to go along with the panini.

I must also mention the hot chocolate. It was smooth, creamy, and one could tell that it was fresh.

There is outdoor seating, so you can bring your dog, or park your stroller right by you. The waiter even brought out some water for our dog without us asking!

The waitstaff is amazing, always making sure you are doing fine, while at the same time giving you space to have your own conversation.

Pricing is between $25-35 for two.

I would really recommend if you’re in the neighborhood and want delicious food with a friendly and motivated waitstaff!!

So excited to find the perfect brunch location. It has everything you could ever want over the weekends. They have delicious breakfasts (challah french toast and salmon goat cheese omelette are my two favs) and also have the options of lunch sandwiches (too many to list favorites). Everything is really delicious, fresh and yummy. It is perfect place to eat outside if you have a dog and/or children. The wait staff is beyond friendly and goes above and beyond for each customer, which I really enjoy. Honestly, can’t say enough great thinks. Oh forgot to mention the peanut butter cup cookie that is perfect with a cup of coffee!

Brooke S., Hoboken, NJ

Went to Breakfast here on a Sunday morning. The place was packed, but somehow I was lucky enough to get a table. The omelette I had was delicious. Coffee was good. And the service was fast. What more can you ask for?

Jonathan A., Hoboken, NJ

Great breakfast/brunch spot. A very affordable option to some of my favorites. Had some amazing breakfast tacos here today. I’m engaged to a native San Antonian and they received a glowing review from her as well. (Side note: why aren’t breakfast tacos a thing up here? My NJ citizenship my get revoked for saying this but I’ll go with a solid breakfast taco over a Taylor ham, egg, and cheese any day)

Planning on trying the pancakes next time around. A couple people got them around us and they looked amazing.

Not a big place so you may have to wait but I’m saying its worth it.

Justin S., Hoboken, NJ

Went here for brunch today. Really cute small place. The servers were very nice and friendly and the food was great. They have a Byob concept but it’s fine because there is a liquor store across from the restaurant. I loved it.

Hansika S., New York, NY

Hidden Gem, great food and service.

Came here after being hungover the night before looking to get one thing…Steak and Eggs!!

It did not disappoint! The steak was juicy, cooked perfect and went great with my cup of coffee which was giving me enough caffeine to stay awake for the next couple hours.

After looking at some of the yelp reviews, I also decided to get one of their famous muffins..

Dang! I’ve actually had quite a few muffins before, and the muffins here are top notch! My favorite part is that it tastes home made, wasn’t greasy or super heavy. We got the cinnamon muffin which is good enough to share with two people.

If you are walking by, although it looks like a restaurant, just stop in and order one of the muffins to go. Trust me!
